Fatality after three vehicle collision on A1307 south of Cambridge

The air ambulance responded and the road between Linton and Abington has been closed.

Police responded to a collision on the A1307 this morning between Abington and Linton where one person has died.

Emergency services were called at 7.52am to a collision between three vehicles; a lorry a van and a car.

The air ambulance attended the scene. A spokesperson for the police says details are sketchy but they belive there were no other serious injuries.

The road has been closed and motorists are being urged to avoid the area.
