A wellbeing festival which aims to challenge the notion that we need alcohol to have a good time will be held this weekend.

On Saturday (July 21), the first Wonder event will be held at The Missing Sock in Stow cum Quy.

Organisers described the event as a “sober social for everyone” for anyone who wants to have fun and feel good but for whatever reason would rather leave alcohol out of the equation.

The event will offer ways to naturally stimulate the happy neurochemicals through a selection of activities including yoga, dance, music and talks.

Tickets vary from £6 to £35. They can be purchased online through Skiddle.
