Football tables in Cambridge pub celebrate Women’s Euros
To celebrate Women’s Euro 2022, the Grain & Hop Store pub in Regent Street, Cambridge - owned by Greene King - has installed a football table which features all female players.
Emilia Raimondi-Baker, general manager at the Grain & Hop Store, said: “We’re excited to have a bespoke female-only football table installed at Grain & Hop Store. Not only will they help raise awareness and support for women’s sports, but it will also help raise money for Women in Sport.”
The pub has added a monetary mechanism to the tables and it costs £2 for a half-hour session, with all money raised being donated to the charity Women in Sport.
