An African restaurant could open in the premises previously occupied by the former Cambridge International Book Centre bookshop in Hills Road.
An application has been submitted to Cambridge City Council for AfricFood, which would open seven days a week from 9am to 9pm.
Described as a “casual-dining African-themed restaurant”, it would offer a takeaway service and there are plans to convert the garden at the back to an outside dining area.
The planning documents say no music is planned.
