Free summer event at Meadows Community Centre

A free summer event will be held at Meadows Community Centre tomorrow (Saturday, June 29).
The event will include a barbecue, face painting, belly dancing and a raffle, along with arts and crafts, ice creams and a sweet stall.
The centre, in St Catharine’s Road, will host the event from 1pm to 4pm.
Visitors will also have the chance to find out about the campaign against plans to redevelop the community centre at the Meadows, which will result in a reduction of the green space at St Albans Road recreation ground.
