The annual free event, which takes place at The Spinney Primary School in Cambridge, is for families to enjoy learning together about science, technology, engineering, arts and maths.

This year’s theme was ‘earth friendly’.

Festival organiser Suzie Young said: “It’s so important to us that we create an event which offers a shared experience for parents to have with their children.

“We know that improving parental engagement in children’s learning will have a positive impact on children’s outcomes at school and we see children from over 100 different schools and settings.

“There’s always incredible feedback from parents and they value the quality memory-making time it creates.”
