The annual Santa Run on Wednesday, December 11, raises money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (Each).

Around 200 Science Park employees pulled in the pounds by donning their best red outfits and white beards to take on the 5k challenge.

Participants jogged or walked around the route, which made its way around the Science Park and parts of the path by the guided busway.

They helped to raise a fantastic £6,000 for the Milton-based charity, with more money expected to come in over the next few weeks.

Emily Rose, Each Cambridgeshire assistant corporate fundraiser, said: “Our event at Cambridge Science Park was another festive feast for the eyes, with about 270 people

dashing around in red jackets and white beards.

“We'd like to thank Citrix, our event sponsor, Revolution Health & Fitness, for helping us put on the event, and of course everyone who took part.

“They've raised at least £6,000 and more money is still to come in.

“That means, following our Santa run at Granta Park, we've received well over £11,000, a fantastic boost just before Christmas.”

She added: “For more information about the concert, visit each.org.uk.”

East Anglia's Children's Hospices offers care and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and support families across Cambridgeshire.
