Principal Matt Oughton said: “We are incredibly proud of what our students have achieved throughout their time with us and these GCSE results are a fitting reward for all their hard work and determination, particularly through the challenges of the pandemic.

“Whilst exam grades are not the only marker of success, GCSEs are an important milestone for our students and give them the opportunity to show off everything they have learned during their secondary education. For our first year of GCSE results, it is therefore fantastic to see not only a very strong set of collective outcomes but some impressive individual achievements, with a raft of top grades.

“I would like to congratulate our Year 11s, on behalf of all our staff, and wish them the very best as they take their next steps into sixth form and beyond. Of course, today’s achievements would not have been possible without the efforts of staff and families and we are grateful for everything they have done to support students.”

Noam Freechter, who was awarded ten grade 9s, and a grade 8, said: “I am very pleased and a little surprised! I am off to Hills. I’ll be looking back with good memories. All the revision and hard work paid off.”
