GCSE results day 2024: Exceptional results at Linton Village College




Exceptional GCSE performances have been recorded by students at Linton Village College today.

Head student Will Moss is amongst a group of pupils that picked up their GCSE results having just returned from a World Challenge expedition in Morocco over the summer.

Will secured an amazing set of grades including eight grade 9s, two grade 8s and an A grade for his Level 3 Free Standing Maths Qualification.

He is progressing to Hills Road Sixth Form College to study chemistry, mathematics, further maths and physics.

Other top performing students include Tom Wilson, Heidi Watson, Hugo Sales, David Forsell and Conor Kraman, who all achieved a grade average between grade 8 and 9 across their subjects.

Meanwhile, many other students demonstrated fantastic progress in their learning journeys, including Bethany Taylor and Grace Dugdale.

Principal Helena Marsh said: “Many LVC students demonstrated great resilience and commitment to their learning in their GCSE studies; they should be very proud of their achievements. I wish the Class of 2024 all the very best in the next steps of their education and futures.”
