Get excited! Our Baby and Toddler of the Year competition is back

The Cambridge Independent’s Baby and Toddler competition is back, offering a free photoshoot session of your child and the chance to win a prize.

We’ve teamed up once again with The Photography Company to take pictures of your little one at The Grafton centre in Cambridge from Tuesday, July 16, to Saturday, July 20, from 10am until 4pm each day (except during lunch from 1-2pm).

The competition is open to any child from birth to five years and the sitting is free, with no obligation to buy anything. No appointment is necessary.

All pictures taken will appear in a special section in the Cambridge Independent edition out from Wednesday August 7.

Readers will be invited to vote for the winners.

First prize will be a 24x16-inch canvas, the runner-up will receive a 16x12 canvas and the third-place prize will be a 12x8 canvas.

A 10x8-inch portrait will also be available to order on the day for just £5. Additional pictures can be taken on request. They will be available to view, by appointment, about 10 days later, with the option to buy any, all or none of the resulting prints.
