Get on board as Dial-a-Ride expands services to four South Cambridgeshire villages
Cambridge Dial-a-Ride is expanding its minibus service for people with mobility issues to four South Cambridgeshire villages – Bar Hill, Cottenham, Histon and Impington.
The non-profit organisation has been supported by a grant from South Cambridgeshire District Council. New members, both individuals and groups, can be picked up from their door to go to health appointments, on shopping trips and visits to family and friends.
And they can take advantage of the newly-launched Saturday trips to the seaside, garden centres and other places of interest advertised on the website.
All vehicles are fitted with electronic lifts for wheelchair, mobility scooter and walking-frame users. Members can also bring along a carer too for an additional fare, and concessionary prices are offered members with a current council-issued concessionary bus pass.
If you, or someone you care for or support, are interested in joining or finding more about the services, call the team on 01223 506335, email members@cambridgedialaride.org, or visit cambridgedialaride.org.uk.
