Greater Anglia to launch special Black Friday offer

Rail passengers in East Anglia can benefit from cheaper tickets as Greater Anglia launches a special Black Friday offer.

Customers are encouraged to sign up for the Greater Anglia newsletter by tomorrow (Thursday, 28 November).

A special email will then be delivered to the inboxes of those signed up on Black Friday (Friday, 29 November) that will contain a discount code for use on selected tickets.

The discount code will be valid to use on selected advance and off-peak fares on journeys to/from London Liverpool Street, including London Liverpool Street to Cambridge, Ipswich to London Liverpool Street, and Chelmsford to London Liverpool Street.

The discounted tickets will be available to purchase between 29 November and 23.59 on 13 December, for journeys between 30 November 2024 and 31 January 2025.

Martin Moran, commercial director, Greater Anglia, said: “Travelling by train is cheaper than you think, and Greater Anglia’s Black Friday offer means people can travel for even less.

“There is so much to see and do in our region and whether it’s a trip to the city or coast, shopping or sightseeing, we are giving people more money to spend on having a great time by helping them save money on their train fare.”
