Have your say on Greater Cambridge Partnership plans for parking scheme in Wilberforce area of Cambridge




People who live in the Wilberforce area of Cambridge are encouraged to share their views on plans for a residents’ parking scheme.

The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) has today (Monday) put forward plans for the scheme to improve road safety and help people park within a reasonable distance of their home.

A combination of residents’ parking bays, pay and display bays and limited waiting bays could be introduced to help.

Lynne Miles, director of City Access at the GCP, said: “Under the proposals, put out to public consultation today, residents would be able to obtain permits, including visitor and medical permits.

“The draft scheme has been developed in conversation with local council members and residents associations, but we are keen to ensure everyone gets a chance to input their views.”
