Help to Buy event taking place in Cambridge this weekend
Cambridge-based developer, Enterprise Property Group, is inviting home buyers to find out more about the Government's Help to Buy scheme at an event on Saturday, June 24, at Cambridge's Holiday Inn, Lakeview.
First-time buyers and existing homeowners keen to take the next step up the property ladder within Cambridge’s thriving property market will be able to find out more about the different schemes available to them and discover suitable developments within their price range.
Independent financial advisers and solicitors will be on hand to offer free and impartial advice.
Help to Buy is a Government equity loan scheme available to all buyers of new homes who may struggle to raise the necessary 25 per cent deposit. Up to 20 per cent of the property price is provided to the buyer through an equity loan, meaning the buyer needs to raise just an additional 5 per cent to meet the lender criteria.
Sophie Schofield, sales and marketing manager of Enterprise Property Group, said: “Buying a home can be a daunting experience but the Government recognises this and there’s a great deal of support out there to help make the numbers stack up.
“Knowledge is power and we’re keen to ensure that buyers understand the options available to them and how they can access Government support to help them buy a home.”
The Help to Buy event will take place on Saturday, June 24 from 10.30am – 3.00pm at Holiday Inn Lakeview, Bridge Road, Impington, Cambridge CB24 9PH.
