Hinton Avenue, Cambridge, is in window wonderland
Residents of Hinton Avenue in Cambridge have been spreading seasonal joy from the windows of their homes.
Since December 1, a different household along the road has unveiled a special illuminated display.
Rinchen Ato, one of the organisers, has her window coming up on December 19. She said: “I think we just all felt like there needed to be a bit more cheer this year.
“It’s the first year we’ve ever done it, and we got the idea from Queen Edith’s Community Forum, who had said that they were going to do an Advent trail.”
Rinchen, who credits Nicki Dawidowski as being the driving force, added: “It’s been great – it’s got everyone together.
"People who maybe wouldn’t normally take part in something like this have been involved, which is really nice.”
