Robert James Hammond, 47, of Primes Corner, Histon, was arrested on Friday (November 10) and was taken into custody.
He appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Monday (November 13), speaking only to confirm his name and address and was remanded in custody for four weeks.

Ms Hammond was the principal and director of Limetree Financial Services, a mortgage broker based at Vision Park in Histon.
Having graduated with a BSc honours degree in biochemistry and worked in scientific research, she then accumulated more than a decade of experience in financial services.
Ms Hammond is survived by two teenage daughters, both of whom swim at a national level for Wales and England.
Writing on Facebook, the company shared the “devastating news” of her death and said: “Everyone that knew her would agree Sian was one of the friendliest people you could have the pleasure of meeting, and she will be sorely missed by many.
“Please bear with us whilst our team comes to terms with this terrible loss. We will keep everyone updated with the funeral arrangements.”
