Incident follows death of homeless man last week

A homeless man has been found dead on Newnham Road.

Emergency services have been called to Newnham Road where a man’s body was reportedly found this morning, Saturday October 1.

The news follows the death of another homeless man in Cambridge last week, thought to be the result of a heart attack, who was found outside Lammas Land Pool.

The man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, is thought to have been homeless and living on Lammas Land for a number of years. He was also thought to have been an acquaintance of the man found dead a week ago.

Police have confirmed that an ambulance is attending at the scene.
