The Cambridge Festival of Cycling, support by the Cambridge Independent, is being organised by the campaign group Camcycle and includes a host of other events throughout September.

■ Camcycle’s Social Ride to Eddington, Saturday, September 1, 11am-3pm. From Great St Mary’s Church, King’s Parade

■ ‘Wheels Through Time’ exhibition, September 3-19 at Cambridge Central Library

■ Camcycle meeting, Tuesday, September 4, 7.30pm, Friends Meeting House, Jesus Lane

■ Plurabelle Books – Bicycle Exhibit, throughout September, 10am–4pm, Coldham’s Road

■ Byways and Highways ride, a circuit of Cambridge September 8. Meet at Milton Country Park at 10.30am for 11am ride

■ Camcycle’s Why we Cycle film screening, Friday, September 14, 7pm, Storey’s Field Centre, Eddington

■ Open Eddington on Saturday, September 15, 9am-5pm, will include Pedal Power in the Market Square, cycle tours, and Dr Bike

■ Camcycle’s Family Cycling Event, Saturday, September 15, 3pm–6pm, Grove School

■ Travel Plan Plus – Green Transport Day, Thursday, September 20, 11.30am–2pm, Mathworks Car Park, Cambridge Business Park

■ Storytime: Wheels Through Time, Friday, September 21, 10.30am–11.30am, Children’s Library, Central Library

■ Cargo Carnival (see left) ■ Repair Cafe, September 22, 1pm–4pm, St Andrew’s Hall

■ Autumn Festival, Sunday, September 23, 10.30am–5pm, Milton Country Park

■ Storytime: Wheels Through Time, Sunday, September 23, 3pm–3.30pm, Children’s Library, Central Library

■ Cambridge Electric Transport – Addenbrooke’s Cycling Clinic, September 26, 11am–3pm, outside the hospital food court

■ #CamRideHome, Friday, September 28, 6pm, outside Mill pub, Granta Place

■ Camcycle and the WI Ladybirds – Bikes And Bloomers, September 29, 2pm–5pm, Castle Street Methodist Church

■ Lucinda Price – Cycle Light Painting, Sunday, September 30, 7pm–9pm Meet at Great St Mary’s Church, King’s Parade
