Officers are investigating a series of robberies in Trumpington involving a group of youths on bikes.

The robberies involving the youths stealing cash and mobile phones have taken place in the past week on the streets close to, or on the guided busway between 4pm and 8pm.

A man in his 20s received minor injuries as a result of one of the robberies.

DS Graham Newton said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who has seen anything suspicious on or around the guided busway.

“We are conscious that there may be more victims and we would urge them to contact us.”

Anyone with information should contact DS Graham Newton on 101 or visit cambs.police.uk/report. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111 or via crimestoppers-uk.org.
