Hunt for gang of youths who robbed and assaulted teenagers in Cambridge

A gang of 12-15 youths robbed and assaulted two teenagers in Cambridge on Sunday (September 9).

The pair, who were with a group of friends, were surrounded by the gang on Parker’s Piece.

As they tried to leave, one of them was punched twice to the back of the head, leaving the 19-year-old man with minor injuries.

A bag containing £10 and a mobile phone were stolen from the other victim, aged 17.

Det Con Kayleigh Fillary said: “This incident has left the two victims understandably shaken.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything suspicious.”
