Five in a row is the target for Cambridge University Boat Club in the 76th Women’s Boat Race on the Championship Course on the Tideway on Sunday (April 3).

The Light Blues had a three-quarters of a length win over Oxford University on the River Great Ouse last year, and the last time that the race was held in London - in 2019 - they were triumphant by five lengths.

President Bronya Sykes, who is in the Cambridge No 5 seat, has a wealth of returning Blues from last year and three Tokyo Olympians in the boat, including gold medallist Grace Prendergast. However, it is only Cambridge born and bred Imogen Grant who has previous experience for the Light Blues in the Boat Race on the Championship Course.
