Police launch investigation after man seen with imitation firearm in Cambridge

Police are investigating after a man was reportedly seen assaulting a woman while in possession of an imitation firearm.

Armed police attended French's Road, Cambridge, at about 10am today (Monday, February 18). They recovered the firearm from the scene.

A woman in her 30s has been taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing and anyone who has seen a blue BMW 520D in the Victoria Road area of Cambridge is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident 121 of February 18.
