JD Sports moving to new location in Cambridge’s Grand Arcade
Sports retailer JD Sports is relocating from Lion Yard Shopping Centre to a busier section of the Grand Arcade - the former Topshop unit - and will be opening tomorrow (Saturday, October 22).
The new home for the store will stock more ranges across fashion, footwear and accessories, and new brands such as EA7, Under Armour, Lacoste, and Fred Perry will be available.
James Air, head of group acquisitions, said: “We are committed to serving the communities that shop with us, whilst evolving with the needs that surround us. We are delighted to be taking the next step in our journey, relaunching JD in Cambridge bigger and better than before, just in time for the Christmas period.”
Anyone visiting the store over the opening weekend will also be in with a chance of winning prizes. Shoppers who receive a flyer from promo staff will have one chance to guess the 4-digit code that opens the safe, and customers who purchase something in store will have three attempts at cracking the code.
