Kouros walks all over cancer in new 10,000 steps a day challenge

Kouros Majidi is undertaking a daily walking challenge for Cancer Research UK: 10,000 steps a day until March 31.

He began his challenge last Wednesday (March 1), walking 4.3 miles (7.2km) and doing it in 11,372 steps. His daily route takes him from his home, down Wulfstan Way, onto Perne Road, then up Hills Road and then down to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

Kouros is undertaking the challenge in order to raise money for a family member who is suffering from cancer, and at present £60 has been raised – 30 per cent of his £200 target.

With Cancer Research UK Giving Pages, more of the money raised goes towards beating cancer. Aside from the credit and debit card fees, every penny donated goes to Cancer Research UK.
