The cast and crew of the pantomime recently got together with special guests from Laragh Homes, the show's headline sponsor.

The exclusive gathering took place on Monday, December 4, and it was laughs and smiles all round as the full Laragh Homes team mingled with the cast on stage.

They may not have gone home with any magic beans to plant in their gardens, but the Laragh Homes crew got to see for themselves how their support has helped to launch the theatre’s 75th ‘diamond anniversary’ pantomime.

Simon Somerville-Large, managing director of the award-winning Cambridge-based property developer, said:

“Laragh Homes is proud to have formed this partnership with Cambridge Arts Theatre and to be associated with their wonderful pantomime.

“As a fellow business with its heart firmly set in the region, we’re delighted to be able to support the outstanding and important work of the Arts Theatre and be a part of the happiness this brings to people in the local area.”

Laragh Homes joined the theatre as a corporate partner in 2016 and extended their support as panto sponsor this year.

Dave Murphy, chief executive of Cambridge Arts Theatre, added: ‘We are enormously grateful to Laragh Homes for sponsoring our panto this year and thrilled that they are playing such an active role in supporting the Arts Theatre.

“It takes a huge co-ordinated effort to put together our pantomime each year and our team works tirelessly to present the very best show possible.

“As an independent charity, support from businesses is vital to the theatre’s success and so we’re very thankful to Laragh Homes for their valuable contribution.”

Cambridge Arts Theatre is looking forward to welcoming around 30,000 adults and children through its doors this Christmas, including 5,500 children from local schools.

Jack and the Beanstalk is on now and runs until January 7, 2018.
