Last chance for walkers and volunteers to sign up for Star Shine Night Walk 2023 in Cambridge in aid of Arthur Rank Hospice
More than 320 people have already signed up for the Star Shine Night Walk in aid of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity - and there is still time to do so, or offer support as a volunteer.
Five and 10-mile walks will take place around Cambridge on Saturday, May 13, with many of those taking part walking in memory of loved ones.
Starting from Cambridge Rugby Union Football Club at 7pm, there will be great music mixed by a Star Radio DJ and walkers will wear colourful accessories.
It is open to individuals or groups, of all fitness levels, who are invited to walk at their own pace around the fully accessible course.
Dogs on leads are welcome in outdoor areas.
Donna Talbot, communications and income generation director at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, said: "The walk is a great way to get involved in the community, meet new people, and have fun while raising money for hospice care. Whether you are walking alone or in a team, with your dog or without, the Star Shine Night Walk is an inclusive event you won’t want to miss."
If you would like to support the event by donating a few hours of your evening, please email your availability to fundraising@arhc.org.uk or call 01223 675888.
To sign up for the walk, go to arhc.org.uk/ssnw. Registration is £17.50 for an adult or £9.50 for a child and walkers will receive a fundraising pack and a T-shirt.
