Last few weeks to have a say on the future of buses in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority is urging people to have their say on bus franchising before a consultation on the topic closes in a few weeks’ time.
The 14-week statutory consultation, which will inform a decision on how to reform buses across the area, began in mid-August and will end on Wednesday, 20 November.
Rob Bridge, chief executive of the Combined Authority, said: “With just a few weeks left to go, now is the time to let us know what you think about bus services and how you would like them to be run in the future. Please complete our questionnaire before 20 November to make sure your voice is heard.”
Since the consultation started, the Combined Authority has held face-to-face events across the region for statutory consultees and local communities. It has also been running digitally with the option to download, print and post back responses, as well as to access translated copies and large print versions.
Any questionnaires received after the 20 November deadline cannot be counted, but there are still several ways people can take part:
In-person: The last two drop-in events where people can meet members of the consultation team will take place in St Neots Market Square on 7 November.
