Former Cambridge Regional College student named in GB squad

Louis Rolfe will be returning to the city of his greatest triumph after being named in the Great Britain Cycling Team for the 2018 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships.

The 20-year-old former Cambridge Regional College student will be heading to Rio de Janeiro from March 22 to 25, having tasted success in Brazil in the team sprint at the Rio Paralympics in 2016.

Joining Rolfe in the 17-strong squad are gold-medal winning team-mates Jody Cundy and Jon Allan-Butterworth.

The event represents the first opportunity to score vital Paralympic qualification points on the road to Tokyo 2020.
