The Cambridge Independent has joined forces with two chambers of commerce for the Two Counties Business Exhibition, taking place on Wednesday, March 14.

The event will be the perfect spot to meet like-minded business leaders.

The exhibition, which is being held at the Millennium Grandstand at Newmarket Racecourse, takes place from 11am to 3.30pm and is free to attend.

It will feature free seminars and speed networking events throughout the day. And businesses can have a stand at the event for as little as £100 plus VAT.

John Bridge, director and chief executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “It is a delight to announce a new partnership with Cambridge Independent for this year’s Two Counties Business Exhibition.

“Their involvement will add more event exposure to help bring more companies from Cambridgeshire and Suffolk together to get connected and create new business opportunities.

“This year we are able to offer four informative seminars plus a large speed networking session, which always proves popular and is a great opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to build new connections and extend their knowledge.”

A number of our sister titles within the Iliffe Media group – including the Bury Free Press, Haverhill Echo, Newmarket Journal and Suffolk Free Press – are also supporting the event, which involves the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce too.

Among this year’s exhibitors will be councils in West Suffolk.

Cllr John Griffiths, leader of St Edmundsbury Borough Council, said: “The growth of our local economy and companies is at the heart of what we do in West Suffolk, and the Two Counties Business Exhibition will help to make this happen.

“Creating opportunities for businesses to gain new customers, meet new suppliers, open the door to new markets and help our local businesses achieve their ambitions for expansion is part of our everyday work.

“That is why we are delighted to be working alongside both the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce to hold the exhibition on March 14.”
