Man arrested following fatal collision on A1307

A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal collision on the A1307 near Linton yesterday (Wednesday, August 29).

The 23-year-old man from Norwich was arrested on Wednesdayafternoon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop after a collision. He was taken to Parkside Police Station where he remains in custody.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the A1307 at 3.32am on Wednesday.

A motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
