Man attacked with bike lock outside Cambridge supermarket
A man in his 30s was attacked by two men, who struck him repeatedly with a bike lock outside a Cambridge supermarket.
He was assaulted as he left Tesco, in Campkin Road, just before 5pm on Tuesday (10 December).
Following the initial attack, the pair began to walk away but as the victim took his phone out to try to get photographs of them they turned round and attacked him again.
The victim was left with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Det Con Vladimir Nikolic said: “This was a nasty attack which has left a man with serious injuries. We think there were people in the area at the time who saw what happened and we would encourage them to come forward and speak to us.”
