Man dies in fall from Cambridge flat

Police arrest man on suspicion of attempted murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following the death of another man who fell from a block of flats.

The dead man, believed to be in his 20s, fell from a balcony in Cambridge at 5.40pm on November 17. Police are treating the death as ‘unexplained’.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire constabulary said: “The circumstances of the death are being investigating and it’s being treated as unexplained.

“The investigation is at a very early stage and it’s not possible to say how many persons were involved in the incident or indeed what exactly has happened. That’s still under investigation at the moment.

“A 36-year-old man from Cambridge has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody at Parkside Police Station.”

The incident happened near Hanover Court, off Coronation Street.
