Man dies in two-vehicle crash on A1307 near Swavesey




A man has died following a two-vehicle crash on the A1307 near Swavesey.

Police were called to the collision, which involved a black MG HS and a white Audi A6, around 6.15pm on Thursday, 24 October.

Emergency services attended, but the man driving the MG died at the scene.

The driver of the Audi, a man in his 60s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge. He remains in a serious, but stable, condition.

The road was closed and reopened at about 1am today (Friday).
