Police investigations ongoing after Cambourne incident

A man in his 20s is in hospital after suffering serious injuries in a stabbing incident in Cambourne.

Police confirmed the incident occurred on Sunday evening, October 8 in the Swansley Lane area of Lower Cambourne and the attendance of an air ambulance was required.

Investigations into the stabbing are continuing.

A police spokeswoman said: “We were called at around 5.55pm on Sunday, October 8 to reports of a stabbing in Swansley Lane, Cambourne.

“The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

Anyone with information regarding the stabbing is urged to call police on 101, quoting crime reference number CF0579101017.
