E-scooter rider left with life-changing injuries after collision in Cambridge
A man riding an e-scooter was left with life-changing injuries after a serious collision in Cambridge.
A silver BMW 318 was involved in the collision with the e-scooter close to the Babraham Park & Ride site on Babraham Road at about 1.22am on Saturday (October 23).
Officers and paramedics attended and the road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
The e-scooter rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital where he remains.
The BMW driver remained at the scene and no arrests have been made.
Sergeant Ian Leeson said: “This was a serious collision which has left a man with life-changing injuries.
“We’re appealing to anyone who witnessed what happened, or who has relevant dashcam footage, to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
