Man suffers serious injuries in Cambridge incident

Police are investigating a violent incident which left a 35-year-old man in hospital with serious injuries.

No arrests have yet been made by Cambridgeshire police who are investigating events on Fen Road in Cambridge on Sunday night (January 12)

A police helicopter was launched to help with the incident and a Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “We were called at about 6.30pm yesterday (January 12) with reports of violence on Fen Road, Cambridge.

“A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries and an investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.”
