Man taken to Addenbrooke's after lorry collision on A14




Two lanes still blocked on A14 to Newmarket.

Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision at 6.22am this morning after a collision involving a lorry which resulted in a spill of diesel.

A man received some serious injuries to his leg and an ambulance officer and Magpas air ambulance were called to the scene.

The man, thought to be in his 40s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital via land ambulance with Magpas responders on board to administer specialist care.

Two lanes are still blocked on the A14 causing tailbacks from junction 37 at Fordham Road to the Newmarket bypass.
