Motorcyclist in critical condition after A603 crash near Harlton




A motorcyclist is in a critical condition in hospital after a collision on the A603 near Harlton yesterday (Monday, 6 October).

The rider, a man in his 50s, was heading southbound, near Washpit Lane, at just before 9am when he was in collision with a Tesla.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, with serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

The driver of the Tesla, a 48-year-old woman from Harlton, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information, including any relevant dash cam footage, to contact police online quoting Operation Admiral. Alternatively, call 101 if you do not have internet access.

Sergeant Mark Atkins, from the road policing unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to it.

“We would also like to thank anyone who was in the area around the time of the collision for their patience in the congestion that followed.”
