Motorcyclist seriously injured following collision in Wilburton




A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision in Wilburton.

The man was riding along the B1049 Twenty Pence Road when he was involved in a collision with a Blue VW Touran just after 11pm on Saturday (13 July).

Police and paramedics attended and the motorcyclist, a 26-year-old man from Wilburton, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the blue VW Touran, a man in his 50s, was uninjured and is assisting officers with their inquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage, is urged to contact police via Cambridgeshire Constabulary's website quoting incident 616 of 13 July. Anyone without internet access should call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Road Policing Unit.
