Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in Cambridge crash




A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Cambridge this morning (Wednesday, June 21).

The crash happened in Madingley Road at about 10.30am and involved a white Volkswagen Crafter and a blue Honda CBR motorcycle.

Officers and paramedics attended and a man in his 30s, who was riding the motorcycle, was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where he remains.

A 44-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, drink driving and failing to stop. He remains in custody at Parkside police station.
