Motorcylist critical in Addenbrooke’s after collision with car on A1303 near Bottisham




A motorcyclist is in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in a critical condition after a collision on the A1303 near Bottisham on Saturday (March 27).

The collision, involving a green Volkswagen Polo car and a black Triumph motorcycle, happened at about 11.15am near the junction with Bell Road.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Willingham, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of a the car, a man in his 30s, was uninjured and remained at the scene.

Cambridgeshire police have appealed for witnesses.

Anyone who saw the collision or either vehicle in the lead up to it, or has dash cam footage, is urged to contact police via web chat or by calling 101, quoting incident number 159 of 27 March.
