Navadhanya, the award-winning Indian fine dining restaurant located at 70 Newmarket Road, Cambridge, is to celebrate its 10th anniversary by offering a special menu from 7-13 October.
The menu, which showcases the restaurant’s culinary evolution over the past decade, will give patrons a unique opportunity to experience the best of Navadhanya’s gastronomic artistry.
Since its inception, Navadhanya has been committed to providing a royal Indian dining experience, with a fresh twist on traditional meals, and always using fresh ingredients.
The restaurant has garnered numerous accolades, including three Asian Curry Awards - as well as a loyal following - for its innovative approach to authentic Indian cuisine.
Navadhanya has also been listed four years consecutively in the Michelin Guide, from 2018 to 2021.
Pravin Raj, Navadhanya’s director and general manager, said that the special seven-course taster menu will be on offer at £55 per person, which is £10 lower than the standard taster menu.
“We do both vegetarian and the meat versions as well,” he says, adding that he feels “very excited” to be celebrating a decade as one of Cambridge’s top Indian restaurants.
“Ten years has gone just like that,” he laughs, “we feel like we’ve just opened.”
Pravin notes that among the restaurant’s specialities are its monkfish, its lamb chops, its lobster, and a special south Indian curry - the chicken chettinadu - which contains 18 different homemade spices.
He adds: “Our 10th anniversary is a testament to the passion and dedication of our team, and the unwavering support of our patrons.
“We’re excited to share this milestone with the Cambridge community that has embraced us over the years.”
Reservations for the anniversary week - and for a special event on 10 October - are open now. Due to limited seating, early booking is recommended.
