A new food and drink venue has been opened at Cambridge Innovation Park in Waterbeach.

Evolve Coffee Shop and Bar was all set to go but the pandemic brought in lockdown restrictions to delay plans.

However, the family-run venture has now been able swing into action, offering a coffee shop by day and a bar in the evening, with indoor and outdoor seating, plus takeaways.

Owner Ryan Taylor said: “To finally be able to open the doors has been a huge relief. Our ethos is very simple – to offer incredible passion, outstanding customer service through an amazing team and fantastic value for money.

“Thankfully, the feedback we have received clearly shows that people seem to love the décor, our friendly team and of course our quality coffee and cakes.”

The coffee shop and bar will offer drinks, sandwiches, cakes and ice lollies, with barista coffees and other hot drinks available, plus soft drinks and slushies.

Carlsberg and San Miguel are available on tap, alongside a wide range of ciders, wines and spirits.

When guidelines permit, the owners have plans to host live music, comedy nights, community fundraisers plus more.

Evolve Coffee Shop and Bar is open Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 9pm, on Friday from 7.30am to 10pm, and on Saturday from 8.30am to 10pm. It offers indoor and outdoor seating, and takeaways.
