New e-scooter model with turn indicators arrives in Cambridge
Voi has introduced a new e-scooter model in Cambridge – the Voiager 4 (V4) – and it has 360° indicators.
This e-scooter model also features new IoT (Internet of Things) hardware allows for higher accuracy when it comes to riding and parking.
Jim Hubbard, senior policy manager at Voi UK, said: “Cantabrigians are known for their passion for bikes, but they are also pioneers when it comes to e-scooter adoption. Over 1.1 million rides have been taken in Cambridge since the beginning of the trials and we estimate to have replaced over 365,000 short car trips.”

Mayor of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, Dr Nik Johnson, added: “I’m delighted to see how these hugely popular runabouts are constantly improving. The safety of riders, and those around them, is of the utmost importance and adding left and right turn indicators is a welcome upgrade that can really help to protect the whole community.”
The trial of e-scooters in Cambridge has been extended to May 2024.
