The launch was held on Thursday, October 10 at the Gonville Hotel – a key ITAC partner and funder of Street Support Cambridge.

Guests included Mayor of Cambridge, Cllr Gerri Bird.

The city’s journey to the launch started with the Homelessness Summit in November 2018, which was attended by 150 people from across the city.

Cllr Bird said: “There were lots of organisations there and it was a fantastic event.

"It came out of the homelessness summit held in Cambridge last November, inspired by a similar approach in Manchester.

“The idea is to bring together everyone working to support homeless people in Cambridge, including the voluntary and statutory organisations and the homeless people themselves.”
