The A14 closures around Cambridge have now been lifted.
One person is dead and another seriously injured in hospital following incidents that closed the A14 is both directions.
The road was closed westbound between J36 and J35 near Cambridge this morning due to a collision involving a HGV and motorbike.
Police were called at about 2am to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a motorbike on the A14 westbound between Junction 35 and 36 (Stow Cum Quy to Swaffham Bulbeck).
The driver of the motorbike, a man, sadly passed away at the scene.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw either vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision should call the road policing unit on 101.
The A14 was also closed this morning eastbound between junctions J33 (Milton) and J34 due to an incident.
Police were called at 8.35am to a collision involving two cars and a lorry on the A14 eastbound between junction 33 and 35. The air ambulance attended.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road is now open in both directions
