Operating incident causes train delays in Cambridge

Disruptions to train services in Cambridge are expected until 2pm.

A reported depot derailment has caused delays and cancellations in Cambridge this morning, November 2.

Owing to an operating incident in Cambridge sidings some Great Anglia trains are unable to get out of the sidings.

The following service alterations will apply:

08:48 Cambridge to Liverpool Street will be formed of 4 coaches instead of 8

08.03 Liverpool Street to Cambridge has been cancelled

08.33 Liverpool Street to Cambridge has been cancelled

10:28 Liverpool Street to Cambridge North will be formed of 4 coaches instead of 8.

Greater Anglia tickets will be accepted on Govia Thameslink Railway between Cambridge and Kings Cross.

Greater Anglia tickets will also be accepted on LUL services between Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street.

Greater Anglia has apologised to customers for the disruption.
