‘Our devastation will never heal’ - family of Gary and Joshua Dunmore pay tribute to father and son murdered in Cambridgeshire
The family of a father and son who were murdered in Cambridgeshire have paid tribute to them.
Gary Dunmore, 57, of The Row, Sutton, and Joshua Dunmore, 32, of Meridian Close, Bluntisham, were shot dead at their homes on Wednesday evening.
The family released statements on Friday, saying: “Josh was a devoted father and a loving uncle. He was a wonderful son and brother and leaves behind an extensive group of family and friends.
“He will be deeply missed and the devastation this has caused will never heal. We ask for privacy to mourn this loss at this incredibly difficult time.
“Gary was the most devoted son, brother, dad, and grandad, who gave everything for those he loved.
“He was a gentle and generous person who always put others before himself and he’ll be massively missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.”
Two people arrested following the shootings were released on Friday with no further action taken.
A 66-year-old man, of no fixed abode, remains in custody.
