Pedestrian dies following collision on A11 near M11 junction

A pedestrian in her 30s has died after being hit by a car on the A11 on Saturday (April 22).

A red Jaguar XF was travelling south along the A11, between the junctions for the A14 and M11, when it struck a woman at about 10.40pm.

The woman, who was in her 30s, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, remained at the scene and is assisting enquiries.
