Trapped casualty freed by firefighters in Great Shelford

A pedestrian who was trapped under a car following a collision in Great Shelford high street had to be freed by firefighters.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 5.03pm on Wednesday, December 6, and found the victim trapped under a vehicle.

The crews used using specialist equipment to release the casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.Both crews returned to their stations by 6pm.
